FOUNDER

S. Bruce “Olamina” Stevenson

There is a yearning in every child to be loved, connected to, protected by, and identified with her/his father. There exists an innate comfort and assurance when responsible and healthy fathers are present and actively involved.

When their father is readily available to impart his wisdom, be an example, share his experiences, and sprinkle his spirit, our children are able to achieve and excel and to explore and soar. The Spirit of Fatherhood speaks to this truth as it reveals both the wonderful rewards of fatherhood and the distressing ramifications of fatherlessness.

S. Bruce “Olamina” Stevenson aka (Olamina Osatude) is a father, an entrepreneur, author, and community activist. The founder of MBRACE Fatherhood, which is an organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, encouraging, and celebrating fatherhood by educating and empowering fathers and also advocating for their families and children. He has served as the National Co-Scribe for the Afrikan National Rites of Passage Kollective and as one of the Co-Founders of the Baltimore Rites of Passage Kollective. He currently serves as a chairperson for the Roots of Scouting and is a member of the Egbe Akokunrin Men’s Society.
